ok alot of u know i already did a taillight swap but i have seen a 700 serise swap done on 240's before but never saw how much work is involved anyone know? im just curiouse not realy considering it since i just paid about 300 for my lights... i seen the 240 with the hova lights on here today and it reminded me and just made me curiouse enough to make this thread

now some info:
You have to modify the fender, weld in a 3cm piece.. Some chooses to cut of the end of a 740-fender and weld in the part where the light wraps around the corners, so the becomes leveled.. DaButcher hasn't done this on his green 242..
Then you must make new mounts for the lights..
It is recommended to exchange the whole "backplate", where the licenseplate is mounted, to a 740 one, so you get the right depth.. That plate is mounted too far back.
If you do it like that, you'll get the right angles.
If you do all this, it'll look good, like on the blue and black volvo here.. :)
Hope this helps! (hasn't anyone in the states done this before? We crazy scandinavians.. :P and yeah, let's call 'em hova-lights)

wow suprisingly it doesnt sound to complacated... i would consider it if i knew when i would b able to get my car painted looks crappy
