I think I want to megasquirt the N/A '82 244(B21f w/ 250Kmi). Not right now, but perhaps later this year.
So I'm just barely learning (only on "How Megasquirt Works" in the Megamanual) and just wanted to see what people's opinions were on doing this to a stock B21F.
It wouldn't be for as much for perfomance gains as it would be for reliabilty, so is there anything that would make it easier/pointless on an N/A application?

is it really worth the effort?

MegaSquirt is intended as an educational project for those who want to learn about electronic fuel injection.
Doesn't hurt to learn I guess. Plus I might want to pursue performance gains in teh future.

Yes, actually. The ass-dyno was pretty happy with only fuel, if you do timing as well you can pick up a fair chunk of power.

John & I did it in an afternoon. Basically just grab a B230 intake manifold if you're lazy & cheap, the SRT-4 injectors that Doug used if you're lazy and have money, or drill out the K-jet injector holders if you're not lazy but cheap.

Sure it's worth it. Save the k-jet stuff for a rainy day... just make sure to drain all the gas from it before you store it.
I can't tell you how much fun it's been. I've learned more about engines and engine breathing in the past several months than I have in all the books I've read on the subject.
Do it.

I'm thinking the B230f intake would be the least, no-drilling hassle.
Would I be good with just the stock injectors from the B230f?

stock injectors will be fine. Ditto with the b230 manifold for easy installation.

My brother and I did it to his car in a day, and the butt dyno was very pleased. Perhaps this gain was from the new intake manifold, or perhaps it was from the (just fuel side of) megasquirt. I believe you should definitely do it (once you've finished learning what you need to know)!

K-jet ignition is silly simple and reliable, so if you want to keep things easy just leave it in place for now and install MS for fuel only. If your car is currently as reliable as your typical french or british thing, then yeah, MS could be the choice of choice. Do your wiring WELL, solder and heat shrink everything.
