During my recent megasquirt improvements I removed the 2.5 bar map sensor and installed a 3-bar unit from Glens Garage. And it now seems that my car is running quite rich across the board.

Besides the hardware change, here is what I did.
In megatune, I switched the map sensor type on the engine constants page from the 250kpa to the 300kpa. I also changed the setting in the configurator from 250 to the 300kpa type map sensor.

Is there anything else I need to do to use this map sensor properly? Do I need to re-compile the source code with a different map sensor function or something?

I also did a free-air calibration on my wideband while everything was apart. So, maybe this could be mis-calibrated, though I doubt it. The car feels a bit lazy, like you would expect from being too rich.

Has anyone else changed one of these and tried to use old fuel tables? I was hoping I wouuldn't need drastic re-tuning.

As I recall you need to uninstall MT and re-install it stating which MAP sensor you have along with the correct O2 sensor.

there is the "sensor calibration" under something (in MS2, i assume its the same in ms1)
There you tell it the voltage in certain circumstances.

You can press the "f1" for your values.

I just noticed that when you change the sensor type in megatune, the Y-axis in the fuel table and spark table get altered. It seems to multiply the row labels by a factor to spread them across the entire 300kpa range now. So my 20kpa line, its now a 26kpa line. But, all the VE values across the row are the same as they used to be. Which seems like it would make things 'Leaner'?? It doesn't make sense to me right now. But I think this is the cause of my problems. Its going to take some table editing to get back to where I was I think.
