April 28th-Pre Davis Show Party

As most of you know, I live in Davis, so every year I host a party at my house (Generally for the young adult crowd). I will be hosting one again. I'll get the final details later, but if your going to the Davis show, plan to come the night before!

Also, John of Evil Genius Racing will probably have a little shindig at his place/shop (less than a mile from my place). For those who don't know, he builds race cars from spec miata's to the Volvo P1800 VCOA race car. Im thinking we could get together at his place and check out/ talk some cars.. then later in the evening head over to my place and party it up. If people get a little carried away with the partying, I do have some couch space, but not much. So if you could, get a DD and a hotel. NO DRUNK VOLVO DRIVING! (I work for Company that markets Bacardi, Ketel One, Jack Daniels, Sutter Home, Lindemans, on and on and on... just to give you an idea on how the night MAY end up)

--I just ask that everyone acts responsible!!! no Patty of 2005... Some of us might remember that night... I know Pat for sure doesn't...

So, I was thinking... Maybe have a bbq and a beer at his place starting... 3 or 4ish. (John chime in) Then when it gets dark at about 8, if people are still up for it, just hang out with a few drinks at my house and have a little fun...

We have a huge yard, lots of Volvos in different stages of being modified and a grill. Sounds like a pre-Davis meet party to me. Justin and I will get it figured out.

Shop/house address is 7832 Hamel Ln, Davis, CA. Google Earth it, Mapquest it, etc.


Also, I bought a Penta engine up in Portland, OR and am wondering if someone coming to Davis can throw it in their trunk and haul it down here, I can help with some gas money.. etc.

It's in parts and shouldn't be too hard to haul.

Let me talk to my buddy, he works at the local Miller distributor and he borrowed a jockey box for my birthday. Maybe I can come up with one. I can borrow the CO2 tank from the empty kegerator in my kitchen.

There's a Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Suites about halfway between John and Justin's place and a Motel 6 a mile further down from Justin's. HI Express and Comfort Suites are about $100, Motel 6 is $43.

A word of warning: if someone gets stabbed, killed or fuked up up in a drug deal gone awry at a hotel in Davis, it's at the Motel 6.
