I was in Frankfurt (auf Deutschland) on business for the first half of last week. I came out of the hotel one morning and was presented with this scene...(as with the Polaris thread, apologies for the camera-phone pics)...

What appeared to be particularly remarkable was that it was a 444...this making it quite a bit rarer than the newer, far more common PV 544, right? I'm a real noob when it comes to PVs, but I believe this was quite a find!

No driver to be seen...it was parked in a tow-zone, and I was sat waiting for my taxi for 10+ minutes...eek! I think those are Swedish plates.

True, they could be worse...look about the same as my first digicam. It still tends to do strange things with colour and grainyness, but maybe I'm too fussy :)

With those body mounted tail lights and the turn signals on the B-pillar, it's a pretty old 444 too.

exactly which part of europe? There are many countries which all have different laws.

correct, old swedish plates too! probably from when sweden changed to the [letters - numbers] format in 1973
