Some pics of my newly painted block

I just finished painting my block and figured I'd take a few pictures to show it off...No it's not pink! :lol: For some reason the paint looks a bit pinkish in some of the pictures but I assure you it's red. The color is Rustoleum Industrial Safety Red, which I think looks nicer than whatever Volvo uses. Stay tuned for pics once I get it fully assembled.

That's a nice shade of pink. :P

It looks like you have a pop-up flash, but if not aim it up and bounce it off something like a sheet of white paper and you might get better exposures. Or shoot the same shots 1 stop slower or with 1 stop smaller aperture.

Man, looks like John Deere Tractor paint! Atleast your keeping yours red, I think my problems with freezeplugs and a rear main seal has to do with its anger over being blue now!

BTW, drive those damn plugs in flat or more, and then JBWeld over them trust me!

Argh! I would take your advice Michael but alas I was using my digital "idiot" camera. I'll take my trusty old Pentax 35mm manual any day, but digital is quick and easy. Maybe I'll use the other camera and scan some in for the website that will document the buildup someday...
