I think they would look stupid on a flathood car.

I guess you're saying that because that's what you've got? :e-shrug:

Honestly, it's hard to tell if those are the same lights on the picture I posted, 'cause the lights are hiding behind that big ugly nose!

It very much depends on what color the bezels are. Body color (or on some colors of cars, black) bezels make them look pretty good. With chrome bezels I think they look nasty though. ymmv.
Had some, sold 'em- the intercooler made the choice for me. lol.
These appear to be on a Canadian car, are they the same and do they go for the same $$ as Euro lights?

 busted! yeah thats what i've got... except mine are the expensive ones with the separate highbeam reflector and bulbs. They're the Euro Cibie lamps, often times you can find them on the German eBay for a decent price. You need the buckets with them too cause they're different then the 4 lamps. Wiring is pretty simple.
I got them off my dads '79 GT... so here you go since im sure this is what you were after:

I've got plenty of these things taking up space, 3, maybe 4 sets, some with headlight wipers. Some parts aren't in very good cond but I know there's enough parts to make 2 good sets.
I'd let them go for less than $200 a set.
The big catch is that I'm in Australia so the lenses are patterned for right hand drive cars. You might be able to get a good deal on some LHD lenses though.

Angus is correct that the lenses can be changed, but I never seen anything but a complete set of lights for sale...
My set contains one brand new headlights assembly, and one that is good condition. They are both from the same car and it was left hand drive, so no problems with the local law enforcement about your lights pointing the wrong way...
Also these Headlights take the H4 bulb, unlike Dana's which take two H1 bulbs and are extremely rare... :-P
Here's some pics of the lights...

The turn signals are part of the set...
Hey guys,
I also have two complete sets for sale, plus parts for others. And I'm in the USA. All headlights are for LHD vehicles, so they'll work for N. American roads.
Set #1 is the dual H1 type. $200 + shipping from 98115.
Set #2 is the single H4 type. $250 + shipping from 98115.
PM me if yer interested; I can send pics.

I can honestly say that with these old H4 Euro Spec lights you don't need to have HIDs. Mine had the standard H4 bulb when i got them and they were very bright.
I currently have H4 80/100W bulbs in them, and they are incredible. And before anyone comments that I'm blinding other drivers, I've tested them with oncoming traffic, and my friend says they are less painful than my wifes euro spec 850 lights, that are stock.
In high beam form, they are um REALLY BRIGHT! :yikes: It's kinda like have the sun attached to the front of your can and being able to turn it on at will...
Mine have some corrosion on the metal reflector, so with good reflectors they are probably some of the best lights for the older 240s... :e-shrug:

HIDs have the look, and coloration that I'm going for.
I will have mine pointed down as to not blind people. 8-)
