I'm confident that I could get the front seats to work, but really wondering about the rearseat, as it would be nice to have it in the red 242. Any advice? thanks.

Here are 320 BMW seats in the front of my 82 242. I could not figure a way to make the back seat work. I have a regular black Volvo seat in the back and it is hardly noticeable.

I have e30 BMW front sport seats. I would try to get those before getting the 320 seats.
Nice clean job on the install.
E30 seats are really nice for OEM, would be a great upgrade.

How much modification is needed to mount these in place of stock 940 seats?

What about rear seats from a older E24 coupe? Would they fit a 240 Series?

This is a later dash I put in when I changed over the interior from tan to black. I found it in a junk car at a pNp. I can't say they are better or not, except that they are not as old as the original.

92-93 got rid of the speaker grille on the dash. A major crack prone area is eliminated.

has anyone ever put a speaker in that place before?
Oh, another benefit of the newer dashes is more room for gauges (Or a pocket)

how much work is required? The idea of fabbing up brackets doesn't appeal.

I have a set of these going in as soon as I get to the interior part of the project. I love they way they lift up as you tilt them forward... My only thing is that the top of the rear seat needs repair (Arizona dry rot) and I wonder if its worth it to do the repair or just see if anyone has a black leather 240 back seat in good shape. Might be cheaper than a repair? :e-shrug:
