for the rear tires to clear (225/60/16) I had to roll the inner lip.. well me needing to update all my rear bushings the rearend sits a little over to the drivers side.. so when the car would bottom out all the way to the bumpstops and then some the tire rubs just a little on the rolled inner lip..

so I found these while cleaning off a work bench and installed them for ****s and giggles.. now when the rear hits rock bottom the tire doesn't scrub.. it did raise the ride hite up like a cm or 2

took the hood off and put the orange one on from my 76 245DL..

the silver hood that was on it will be taken to a body shop to get proper repairs.. then painted gloss black with clear coat..

or maybe flatblack with a mate clear.. not to sure what the guy will have... most likely he will wait till he sprays a black car and then sprays the hood with the left overs from the mix.. same thing with the clear.. will be cheaper also..

I can't say those rear spring "spacers" look safe.

But, the car actually looks nice. The wheels need a proper detail though.

the spring spacers are made to be placed in the spring like that.. you have to jack up the car and then wedge them in.. the only way they would come out is if you got airborn or something.. and thats something I don't want to do..

and Nick have some patience lol I have to get the 744 shell packed up with metal and sent to the scrapers.. then the "Pumpkin" will get some attention :-P
