Damn!! Looks like an awsome show. Lots of awsome cars I love the fender flares on the 242 with the five rallye lights hangin on the front. Any body got an Idea as to what there off of? Were there any V8 powered cars there. If I show up next year with my V8 242 am I going to be welcomed or told to park on the street? Id love to start hitting some of these CA shows.

Yea it had some interesting modifications. The cup holders looked the most functional though haha. I know there were mixed feelings about the 1800 with those rims but it looked really good in person. I bet all the old guys nearly had a heart attack seeing it

There was only one v8 24(5) this year, but you wouldn't be turned away.

actually, I was a little disappointed. I was really thinking the vintage guys would rise up as one and set the car on fire  ... course I didn't really stick around to see how they felt about it LOL

Wtf is the point of this? Is there a redblock under that thing, or what? It would seem like there's not even close to enough room... it almost looks like some kind of weird rotary setup. :wtf:

Any more info on that car? It's interesting, at least... if for all the wrong reasons.

Kick ass pics! :-D

EDIT: OK, I can see the timing belt cover now... man. All that custom work to have a less efficient intercooler installed in a place that is completely counter-intuitive...

If memory serves, it's got a little more displacement, and a few more cylinders. Seems like that one was B30 powered. :oogle:

some of the us cars had B30 tho - and im unsure if it was still a wooden chassis at that point

never liked the rear end treatment - designed by frank costin , an eminent aerodyamicist and sports car designer of the time .

I still don't understand why that guy cut a hole in his flathood so he could inefficiently hang the tiniest intercooler in existence out of it under the ugliest hood scoop I have ever seen. I'm sure his 270hp is limited due to the severe amounts of ugly that surrounds it. :-P

Total ricer...

He is, but he's not much of a show participant. In the 5 or 6 years I've known him I have only seen his car two times.... once at the SoCal Picnic and once at Bozzani.
