  • It's not a big deal. In short, you remove the "moving parts" of a standard automotive relay. What you are left with is connecting the original wiring (ask Buchka shows in his writeup) to just the coil part of the relay. If not mistaken, there is a picture in my build thread of the gutted coil. I've had no issues with the tach post upgrade.
