    I've been reading the +t thread and in the process of collecting parts for my upgrade (1990-245 using a 1991 740 turbo donor). I've come across a few links regarding injectors and noticed your post re the orange tops.

    I'd like to go without the resistor packs but unsure if the greentops, orangetops, orange body, or the buick injectors are the way to to. The goal of the turbo is a stock transfer of parts from the 740 to the 245, simple clean, low boost, its a daily driver and I will likely never have fuel delivery rate issues, but if the orange body injectors provide a better flow and more modern design then I'm leaning towards those.

    Well it looks like I haven't been on for a while. I don't see as many problems as I had. Looks like you will be adding more knowledge to the database when you complete your project. Just don't set a time table and rush yourself.
    Hi there, I read your very informative article detailing +T to a 240 using 740.
    I have a 1980 242GT (B23, k-jet & M46 - manual trans with o/d). I have found a 1994 940 turbo SE (LH 2.4), which appears to have a B230FT & only about 60K miles. My question to you is if I use the 940 as a complete donor (not using any part of the B23) & shift intercooler & Fan to right side, use 940 e-fan and shroud, use the 940 resistor pack, etc. will I have ANY space issues at all with this transplant? (other than small stuff like relocation of windscreen washer & or coolant overflow bottle to make space for relocated cold air intake? Also, will the down-pipe from Mitsi turbo work in 242 without length reduction? I know this is complex and involved, but if there is anything obvious to be aware of with a 1994 940T that you're aware of, your expeirence pointing this out would be much appreciated!
