  • hi i have a b30 with a m46.
The flange of the m400/410 has been welded to the m46 they do it more often here in holland but i think that isnt possible with a m90.
    i'm from the netherlands(europe).
I absolutely dont want a 4 gear gearbox and i have a volvo lsd(240/164/140) in the back so i dont wanna change my diff
hi. ime going through simalar stife at the moment... what motor are you running and witch box do you want to run? you say you have a m46 with a modified b30/b21 bellhousing {hang onto it if you have!!} if you can get an m90 it wont fit the b30. and if you have to get a b30 auto bellhousing welded to the front of a m90 gear box, you could also do it with getrag or zf boxes from bmws or other makes.. by the way, what country are you in? the t5/56 boxes are not very tight or quiet altho they are strong an sound systems can hide the racket. your best option is find a 72+ m410 and fit that, get the drive shaft with the gearbox if you can as there are different flange sizes just to annoy you. ps if you find a m400 cheap you could fit that and go with bigger wheels or shorter diff ratio. good luck ted!
