  • I noticed you responded to not having to use a tach adaptor on your MSD install. I got the package from BoxDriver2 and can't figure out which diagram on the MSD site to use. My car is a 92 745T LH2.4 nothing extra in the ignition system. Could you point me towards the diagram on the MSD site you used?

the clap, kris haz it! his hippie mobile gave it to him while he was working on it
If you read my sig correctly, you would have seen that 7=9. Meaning that 700's are just as win as 900's, after that it's the FWD cars, then the classic style of the 100s, then the modern style of Saabs, and finally the hippie series; a.k.a. 240's

now gtfo and fix your broked 240
Yes sir you have, and not mechanically/Volvo wise. I'd give you a hug or a slap on the butt - but I'll let one of Brett's past forms of affection on you count as mine.
I have a set of gauges for a 240. I don't have senders but will throw in a 240 clock for $25.00. So all three gauges, bezels, a clock plus s&h. I'm in sf shipping should be less then ten bucks.

ok i have a 89 volvo 240 sedan i want to upgrade to 195/60/15 , 195/65/15, or 205/60/15 or 205/55/15 without changing anything to the car . whcih would be good? i see alot of people get the 195/60s close to the original but id like the 205s then again the 195/65s sound good for ride comfort .im just hoping its not going to rub (205/60s- 205/55s) when turnng. i am looking for a reasonable tire maybe pirellis that will last long and maybe have a stiffer sidewall but comfortable geez you can tell im a woman lol
Krisverde check the wires at the sensor in diff they deteriate and cross. This is very common and probably the problem. I have been working on Volvos for 8yrs and have never changed that sensor. Cut back the black sleeve on the wires and inspect. Just but connect some lengths of wire in to replace old wires and you should be good to go. PM me and let me know what you find Im curious.
