Today when I tried to open the rear drivers side door of my XC70, it wouldn't open. The door also wont open from the inside. The child safety stuff is deactivated.
My Autel scanner says the motor can't push the mechanism enough to unlock the door.
It seemed like vida/dice concluded it was a mechanical fault after unplugging and plugging in the DDM. It looked like the DDM pins were in okay shape from what I could see. I don't see any obvious wiring damage.
I pried the door panel off but it's very hard to see what's going on in there when the door wont open. Is there any way to manually the doors on these cars? Otherwise it's headed to the dealer.
