I was planning to replace both fuel pumps in my 940 turbo with a single in-tank pump only. If I do this, i might as well go to a 93-94 fuel sender so i can swap to a 93/94 cluster for the speedometer to work properly and fuel to read.
I was reading about an Airtex pump, E2366 i think, or a walbro pump, not sure what p/n.
Is the airtex one a direct drop in, besides the connectors? If I do upgrade, I'd have to get an adapter for the fuel line where the fuel filter is to go from the new pump line into the filter. What size would that be?
Also, is the cluster a direct drop in after swapping the senders?
