on a similar note, what are some decent and cheap mics and cameras? could do it up better in the shop than last time. Thinking a little later start might be easier for some folks? or was that good?

I thought it was a solid idea from the Jay-rod meister, I'm not trying to steal his thunder if he wants to host again.. I just wanna get the ball rolling. Could make it monthly or bi-monthly depending.

I can't. My wifi doesn't like Youtube these days, let alone live video.

Free zoom is usually (unless you get that free bonus sometimes) limited to 40 minutes.

Wanna give Google Hangouts a try? It's free, no time limit.

We use google meet for school meetings, if people stay muted it is ok, then when a person turns on their mic they appear. Better on a phone, 4 people show at once. I never figured out how to show more than one on the laptop, and I have issues with both. One lacks a camera, one has no audio out.

I recommend facebook messenger chat. The audio is clean and it has silly-ass effects.

I have actual decent camera gear (gimbals, drone, SLR and some lights/tripods).. LMK, I may be able to talk a friend into coming with me and shooting. I wanna shoot something lol
