Looks good!

thelostartof 04-26-2010 07:41 PM

That is a tiny little turbo for that much motor and head flow

haltechsupra 04-28-2010 08:38 PM

t 2 small?

That is a small turbo for that motor.. I did a b234ft with a regal t type turbo on it, but i guess its all in what you plan to do with the car. Id suggest a t3/t4 with a 54 trim to4e wheel on cold side and a 13 degree clip, or less (but you need to clip it ) on the hot t3 side. That can make in upwards of 400 whp to start, and spool up is incredible, due to the big cold wheel pushing the small hot wheel immediately.. Everything else looks awesome! Cant wait to see some video footage of that monster!

That a pretty random suggestion for a turbo. There are more appropriate compressor wheels and suggesting a clip on a brand new turbo is rediculous. Why not get the size wheel/housing you want if you are out turbo shopping. I suspect/hope that turbo is on there for mockup purposes only.

Looks good! You still interested in the underdrive crank pulley?

shaved240 10-11-2010 01:27 PM

what cam gears are those?

and are you trying to get full boost while ideling? that turbo is way too small.

That Turbo is used in T5-Rs.. which flows considerably more air than a mostly unported 16v Head we'll see how it works ;) Dont forget that i'll run this on LH2.4 @ first

Flowchart MHI 18T

Above i mentioned using a Holset HX35W later when i have an edaquate exhaust header for using external WG n'stuff
What turbo would you suggest?

Anyway.. 1st goal will be to get that motor in my brick and smogtested which is comparable in germany with getting an audience with Mrs. Merkel herself ;)

The Cam-Gears you can find @ klracing.se bought them this year Vallokra for a very nice price together with ARP Headstuds, heatwrap and a nice factory fitting IC..

that one

@ Turbosteen, yep.. just send me some pics please just to determine theres no missunderstanding.. cause i could swear your brother told me its the beltdrivegear which is for sell? uhm? :D

DNAsEqUeNcE 10-11-2010 05:50 PM

i run that intercooler in stock form, not ballerstatus form as you have

MadDog_945 10-11-2010 06:07 PM

yap same to me atm ;)

dbh86 10-11-2010 06:59 PM

MadDog_945 10-14-2010 03:24 AM

What about this turbo?

http://www.turbo-parts.de/product_in...63A-R-Abg.html

http://www.turbo-parts.de/images/pro...s/T3-T4-wg.jpg

- Compressorhousing 60 A/R

- Compressor 71>54mm

- Turbinenhousing 63 A/R

shaved240 10-14-2010 03:42 AM

that turbo looks a lot better.

a good turbo i would suggest is a gt30r, gt35r, holset hx35/40, 60 trim turbo. Lots of others out there.

740nut 10-14-2010 03:48 AM

or this even

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWAX:IT

740nut 10-14-2010 03:48 AM

if i had the money i would buy that

MadDog_945 10-14-2010 06:17 AM

Naaah i will need an internal WG @ first..

DNAsEqUeNcE 10-14-2010 06:21 AM

hey bud

perfect turbo for you is the holset he351cw.

t3 flange, internally gated and everything, just port the wastegate hole a bit.

much love
