Poor advice, then you end up with a random wire hanging off a battery terminal that no one will be able to figure out what it does... until you trace it along its whole length. Simple modification...

Put car in drive, rev up to 1500ish while holding brake, if the rhythm is irregular... you have a miss. The issue may not be apparent at no-load idle.

We use rosstech if real vw diag is needed, autel is usually close enough if it isn't anything serious.


Also, snapon scanner won't run the DEF tests needed...

Return to stock, solve issues. Modify one part at a time. Same as all the other troubleshooting you have ever done in the qualifications you dropped. Or just put in all new ECUs and parts.
