With the extra hard poly mounts I only get any vibration at idle, and yes the dash does vibrate but that car spends so little time at idle its of no bother

For our Welsh roads a lifted 240 is much better than any 4x4 I have driven. 4x4 are give a rough ride going over bumpy tracks at speed as where a well lifted 240 just takes it all in its stride

Why not just lift the 240 a bit and fit a LSD? They are already fairly high to start with

For normal road use the VX would be the better choice in a non turbo engine. With turbo the A is better for low down. T cam is a good hammer

At that depth I'd not be loosing any sleep over it.

There are a number of LHD 16 valve 360's but I can only think of 1 RHD car that has been built. I'm failrly certain the fitted a pedal box to sort the clearance...
