It's not that it hunts. The tach needle is dead even, but the car shakes. Once up to temp, the needle is in the exact same spot, but the engine is smooth. Maybe the tach needle just doesn't have that...

Bah. Fixed it. Somehow I missed that the small wire that comes off of the battery positive cable (what does that do anyway?) was fraying. Replaced the cable. Runs like a champ now.
