It seems to be working. I used the WD40 to clean and then the Lucas Oil White Lithium on the part itself. Thanks for all the input! If you guys could help with my fuel injector issue thread now haha.

I don’t see evidence of them being bent. I tightened the bolt, cleaned with WD40 and then added in white lithium grease. I’ll keep you all

TIPS? Installing rubber gasket on 245 hatch.

The one on there is original, full of moss, and allows a ton of water in the car. I ordered the rubber gasket OEM from ipd and there are no instructions out there. (That I saw anyway.)

1990 245 Trouble starting in the rain

...and we have had a ton lately. It turns over but takes 5-10 times to start, will typically stall 2-3 times then after that I have to have it idle for a bit before taking it out at risk of stalling...
