You can get Ben's mounts, use them in place of stock because they will outlast the replacement factory pieces, save up coin, buy Ben's coilovers and reuse the plates. Simple. I highly recommend them.

I do believe the glass is tempered, and no way to cut a hole in it without permanant damage.
