Yep, pure crap. My friend bought one from IPD and it jammed FOUR days later. One of my irritations about IPD is they don't disclose the manufacturer of parts most of the time.

I just had a two piece from a '90 240 cut down and refurbed and they said there were no non-greasable u-joints available. Pretty sure you're right about the early ones having 1310's but I'm not sure...

Same here, done this four times and never had this issue. Only difference is I'm not running the Deeworks bearing retainer. I did use all the hardware with the kit though and had no clearance issues.

I think the wet clutch is toast, probably sheared itself off of its connection to the shaft. You can pop open the inspection cover and check the filters for debris but it's going to need to be pulled...

You need a 1" thin service wrench. If you look at where it's attached you'll see where it goes. Important to note that you want to clean the entire area completely before you start tearing into it....
