Not true! T cam picks up torque everywhere before falling on its face and makes the car a hair quicker. So does a proper valve adjustment. And other misc. little things.

No check engine light? If the car were seriously driving this much differently and had THAT much less power(20mph is a HUGE loss in power on a 240), I would expect one and a fuel mixture too...

OHV engines are a much different beast than these OHC engines. The camshafts in those have much higher stresses. In any case, 2000-3000rpm for 20 minutes and done is typical for our cars.

Ah. I was just looking up the injector numbers off of RockAuto/FCPGroton and it came up with the -150734s as being the replacements for my '87 LH2.2 240.

The 209s are indeed a good bit smaller....
