Most of the Turbo 740's with m46's had the guibo (at least, mid 80's). FWIW. If you were to swap a 740 m46 into a 240, you'd need to move the pivot for the clutch fork, which just needs a new stud...

You should check the codes with the engine OFF but the ignition on KPII (run). But you have no codes, so:

This sounds like a classic fuel pump relay failure. They get old and start overheating...

I doubt it. The -90 cars had LH2.2 and 90+ lh2.4, I think the plus kit did need to speak LH. Not sure on that though.

Yes, the wagon/sedan rear ends are identical in terms of bolt ups. However, 93+ (iirc) wagons did come with the larger 21gal fuel tank which might or might not be a problem with IRS.

Thanks! Interestingly, the car is running MUCH better now at 300k than it was at 200k. In fact, the only problems remaining are cosmetic and rear wheel bearings.

People see mileage as scary when...
