Check rear cam seal area first. Clean the trans area with brake cleaner and blow it dry. Run car. If if comes out of hole then it's the rear main seal.

If the red wire was cut it may be broken through the harness. Run a new one from the block at the fire wall down to the alternator to test that wire and regulator.

Sounds like an air mass meter. Unplug it and start car. If it runs, then plug it back in. If it stalls, there's your problem
