I'm pleased to announce that the +12v pullup to the tachout (in my case, I'm using my FIDLE wire. MS2) worked like a charm :). No diode or relay circuit required.

Today I also learned that there is no cam seal on the intake cam of the B6304S. The cap itself is the seal. That OTP DVD is worth it's weight in gold :).

The Aw30-40 can be shifted manually quite easily, and does not need a TCU. Google around for the Jeep guys solutions, since they use the same transmission. It's called the AW4 in the jeep world...
