Note to self and anyone with the same problem in the future. Check your grounds to the head and block. Mine was loose behind he a/c compressor on the drivers side of the engine.

I've been getting high temps lately and wonder if my sender is bad. The fan only turns on when the temp gets almost to red on the gauge. And doesn't seem to run at low speed....

I don't know how to check the fan clutch.

I don't think the temp board is bypassed, but I guess I also don't know how to check that either. All of the wiring in the car seems to be stock.
