Removed an early alu cover from a wrecked German 745 with manual/B230F from 1989.5.
My 240, built mid 1990, had the steel cover.
I think the 740/940 got the alu covers...

I used to be very pro-LH.. and it is a usable system. But its not free to mod either. If you can make chips yourself you can go far, but you need to live with some drawbacks that will be inevitable...

Good score! My experience with the earlier PRV was quite good too, they just suffer a lot more from neglect.. Like most other euro cars. The redblocks seem to be more idiot proof/bullet proof.
