So the 24# kinugawa w.g. actuator didn't make much difference, do I actually need the eBay header? Head has stock valve sizes, ipd turbo cam.

I had to grind the lip off the flange nuts I used...

I had to grind the lip off the flange nuts I used to mount my turbo, but yes you have to screw the nut down as the turbo moves forward as stated above.

Sounds like timing issue to me too, only time that symptom happened to me. Easy for crank pulley to move a little when installing the belt.

Voltage at rotor should be extremely high, like 25,000v. You won't be able to measure with a multi meter, you can remove the coil wire from the cap, fix it approx 1/4" from a ground, like the intake...

Don't worry about it Lummert, it's not adjustable on 2.2 unless you burn a new chip. Just get the mixture right and see how it drives. I had to lean that screw all the way out to run brown tops.

I went ahead and ordered a kinugawa adjustable waste gate actuator. It doesn't seem like the motor is getting choked off, I think the waste gate is getting blown open.

I don't follow your logic, maybe if it was over boosting, then the waste gate hole would be too small. This is a China Bay td05-20g supposed to be good for 400-500hp with their waste gate actuator...

Why does my boost drop off?

I can build 24psi but after I get over ~5k rpms it drops off rapidly down to 15psi. My internal w.g. actuator is 7psi without the MBC, is this my problem?
