Mechanical - either plug failure or something...

Mechanical - either plug failure or something damaging it, hence the detonation question.

Plug numbers on this end - facing the front of the motor 1 is far left 2 next etc.

I dunno - it's an older car with over 220K on the motor - it runs well, has the R manifold and the exhaust which makes it pretty fun to drive as is. I don't need to beat it up more than necessary.

On top of the wiring, the rear hangers won't fit, the hangers are too low on the rear muffler and there was no way for them to connect them to the OEM supports...

No no seat heaters at all. Guess they just leave the connector under the seat and cut the one wire for whatever reason.

Sort of half assed IMO - they did the same with the front light wiring...
