I'm a fan of the new microsquirt for it's price and simplicity. I have it on a v8 Ford and a 4cyl Volvo, incredibly easy to get going.

I really don't like tunerstudio software as I find it...

Grab the maxx speeding rods with ARP bolts....

Grab the maxx speeding rods with ARP bolts. Should be bolt in and go. May need to lightly sand/debur the sides of the small end bushing so the pin slides in.

Not an LS, but 250 lb/in with a 5.0 Ford. Used mostly for track days and drifting. It’s a little soft when drifting wth 4 or 5 people in the car, but otherwise it’s very easy to live with.

A SBF pump has an internal hex for the drive, so you can spin it with an allen wrench chucked up in a drill. Might be easier to keep centered verses the SBC slot drive. Just a thought.

Check the smallish wire going to the starter solenoid, it will be a standard spade connector and the wire is blue and yellow (may be black and yellow...). This wire tells your starter to do its thing...
