I built my 350 Chevy powered 240 wagon 30 years ago. I made it a 2 door 29 years ago, hence the 283 SD. I an now coming up on 300,000 miles. BTW it is a blast to drive!.

I've been driving my V8 wagon for 30 years now, coming up on 300,000 miles, have it out today, it'a still a blast to drive. BTW it weighs 3450 lbs with me in it and a full tank of fuel.

Why did I do Mine? They match the other Aeroquip lines that I run to the remote oil filter and oil cooler, also have a P/S cooler, etc ,just to make everything match.

It's not nice when a flywheel lets go. Years ago I worked on a 67 Vette big block, the fly wheel blew, took out the glove box and exited through the right cowl vent very cleanly.

Ran into problems running syn oil in the diff, both on my car and in the race Sprite, same fatigue failures in both cases. The syn oil does not absorb shock as well as plain old gear oil.
