Bolted the 531 head on today with the .040" MLS...

Bolted the 531 head on today with the .040" MLS headgasket. I did 4 rounds at 15 ft-lbs and then 3 rounds at 45 ft-lbs. Tomorrow I'll do another round at 45 and then the final 90 degree angle torque....

Yes, I have noticed flexing in the 80-90 mph range and definitely want to brace it again before pushing the car to any real speed. It's one of the items on my very long list of todos!
