The clutchnet 4 or 6 puck Mustang T5 disc will hold fine with the stock Volvo turbo pressure plate.Especially in a lighter car like a 240. They have upgraded pressure plates, but they are stupid...

you probably have an injector that is leaking...
you probably have an injector that is leaking down when you shut the car off- the raw fuel drips into the affected cylinder,collects between the piston rings & cylinder wall causing a temporary loss...

I used an adjustable clutch master cylinder...
I used an adjustable clutch master cylinder pushrod from a Toyota to get the clutch pedal closer to the floor- I would think you could do the same with the brake pedal- a little more work involved...

740 Stiff Power Steering after sitting
1990 740 270k, if the car sits for more than a day, the steering gets really stiff/won't return to center, takes a couple hours of driving to go away, if I drive it every day, it's fine. I flushed...

You will need a 960 oil pan that has been shortened to fit the 5 cyl,(the 850 pan won't clear the crossmember) and some kind of fuel & spark management- the 960 auto trans is plenty strong & bolts...
