You need to use the G80-compatible differential...

You need to use the G80-compatible differential cover and sensor to get the right clearance and location for the sensor. They are non-adjustable to my knowledge whereas the older 240 ones used shims.

You could probably take an old bicycle inner tube and with some hose clamps use that as a 'temporary' fix. It holds at least 40 psi on your paper route, so it would probably work for a low-pressure...
