He's talking about an LSX too. He'll make at least 500hp with that engine and that is without even trying. A 2" shaft with ujoints in the center is asking for trouble.

One piece, 3" and be done. I've run 0-4 degrees of pinion angle in various cars. Coil cars are way more forgiving. You have a v8 performance car now. The car it is in and what it had means nothing....

16x8 will certainly fit with ease. I run 225’s on them. I can’t remember the spacers I run. I went with vette wheels. If you search salad shooters you’ll get some idea on spacing since they are 16x8

Are you buying a rear that is narrower than stock or wider than stock? If the wheel would usually require a spacer, than the new rear end would have to be wider than stock to eliminate the spacer.
