It's got a 12B actually, but close enough I suppose.

Volvo didn't use two-way cats except on a few early 240s, IIRC.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the aftermarket cats were not nearly as long lasting as OE cats in the first place.......

The parts diagram I'm looking at makes it look like the 960 cats have the downpipe "built in" (like the 240 Turbos) -- hence the cost. Cats for a 940 are gonna be cheaper.
