I never shifted my M47 very hard and it still didn't last under boost, though it was high miles worn out junk. No way one can handle 250hp tho.

IIRC I used a punch and tapped the old ones out. Even though my M47 has a ton of side to side slop inside I still noticed an improvement in feel with bronze bushings and new pins.

I'm not a fan...

I noticed basically no difference between what I think was used motor oil vs brand new OEM Volvo trans oil in my M47.

I'd just go with synthetic motor oil. The OEM oil I got was pretty pricey.

Yeah, currently also have no PS in the turbo 240 due to a leak. It's a bitch when parking, imo. (Maybe cause I still have a pump instead of a looped line?)

I used expanding foam on my old 245. It worked, but kind of a hack solution. I bet you could find a chunk of foam at Walmart or something and cut it to fit.

I dunno how it was factory. That's just my setup. My last radiator also had an overheat switch in the corner so I wired that to high speed, but the original rad I swapped in doesn't have that.

Two pins for low and high speed. Ground the low one and the fan kicks on low. Ground both or just high and the fan will go on high. The way I did it was a Saab T in the upper hose and a manual switch...

I'm currently running a 92c in the upper hose. Need to try something colder, but I do think my aftermarket temp sender for the gauge reads a bit high.

Yeah, there must be something wrong with your system or fan. Low speed is fine even with AC and intercooler in front of the cheap aftermarket rad for me.
