If I'm correct I ended up buying one of those...

If I'm correct I ended up buying one of those warm up regulators for my B230E engine, from an old Mercedes Benz. Works like a charm and was a lot less work than swapping the engine/harness.

You can buy some imitation sheetmetal to fit in there, but it still requires a lot of hammering.
