95 (960?) is a totally different animal as far as overheating. Doesn't take much for them to crack/warp heads. 2/7/9's are much more forgiving when it comes to overheating.

IIRC, the S40 Turbo has a pretty specific exhaust flange and wastegate actuator. A 15T will not bolt easily.

If the fuse blows again, I would certainly suspect wiring from solenoid to shifter. You can rig the solenoid, but it will always have overdrive (Cannot de-select).
