Clip one end of the lamp to a good clean ground and then BACKPROBE an unplugged exciter wire. Key ON.

I like my Lisle lamp from O'reilly. It gets a lot of use.$10-$15

My bet is still on a bad ground wire or an open circuit on the exciter circuit.

Good to hear you got it fixed.

1991 may not have that fuse. 1990 and back should.

I still recommend cleaning up the cabin fuses. They are a known weak point.

I think my 240 wet no start was the positive wire junction block mounted on the inner fender.


Also check for fretting at the fuses/fuse holder.

I fixed that code on my 1990 240. I think it was a corroded fuse holder by the battery.

Another member just fixed that same code by replacing the LH/Fuel pump relay. It powers the computers.
