Yes. For 99% of tbers that want 300 horsepowers!!!1!0” an 8 valve head is plenty. Some bigger valves and an enem cam, which all bolts on using stock hardware, is more than enough.

Either some aluminum pipes and silicone hose cut for a custom fit or weld a new neck on the water pump. Custom made hose is probably easier.

I think you’ll want a thermostatic sandwich plate. Without the thermostat it’s possible the engine may never be able to come up to operating temperature.
