No, it's impossible to put dual gearboxes on a FWD car. :) Some people have done it with planetary gears on the driveshafts and stuff but much harder than on a RWD.

I'd advice you to try a chip, cam and manual boost controller and see how you like it before you tear the whole car apart. :) Manual swap is nice and all the parts you need can be sourced from a 1995...

The 531 has a more centrally placed spark plug and with that came slightly bigger combustion chambers = lower compression ratio. The FB still has 130hp though, but it could benefit from a head shave...

Oops, I got that mixed up. It's actually a B230FD which is a regular 9,8:1 compression, 116hp B230F with a 530 head and M cam but it's got EGR, pulsair, round tooth belt and squirters. :)
