1.3-1.5 bar is about as much as you want to run with the 19t imo. Above that the turbo will become less efficient and the gains will be small.

What's "safe" is determined by the tune, fuel type...

Base circle is the same on Volvo factory cams.

I routed the crankcase vent to a catch can instead of the intake.

I noticed that the vented gases smell like gasoline. Engine oil is new.

To what degree is this expected?

Swapped in 24x12x3" chinese/"ebay" intercooler today. Also 0.2 bar more boost than stock 940 IC.

Had to cut some metal from the car to fit the elbows and had to fab up new piping.

Just switched from 15G to 18T. 18T is as fast at 0.8 bar as the 15G at 1 bar.

It runs very nice now, good response and you do not feel the torque dropping off like with the 15G.
