I've had the exact same experience with my former 850 T5. Altering the gap on my spark plugs fixed it instantly. I'd start with the known 5 cylinder issues you can fix for free.

Check the condition and gap of your spark plugs. IIRC the factory gap is .028. If you're running more boost you may want to narrow that down to .026.

If it's anything like the automatic shift knob in these cars it gets pulled up and off. The auto ones do contain a switch mechanism so I imagine they're even more fragile.

The t cam ought to be one of the easiest cams to aquire for next to no $$$. If you're worried about the condition of yours, I would just find another one to run. You'll also need shims.

I read that earlier. I didn't think the Elevate conversion got crushed by Elevate though.

The U.S. spec C30 also got a much less flexible computer for tuning purposes. :-(

I don't know if it helps you, but I have a 13G from a V70 that you could have for the cost of shipping. It builds boost fine but it does use oil so I would recommend a rebuild kit.
