Those clamps are hard to secure without the right tool, which is expensive. I used a tile nipper which works perfectly for $5.00

I took the crush sleeve and dropped it on a spare pinion, then beat it with a BFH until it was .030” longer, then crushed it again until in-lb drag was in spec. Golden- sent it.
