Checked my Haynes manual wiring diagrams last night, the purple/white wires appear to be for the fog lights (which I knew were disconnected). I'll have to trace those. Thanks!

I'm betting that's exactly what it was... it's been crazy hot here too. Probably the heat causing the pressure to go up and the system is releasing that excess pressure.

Check eBay, Facebook, and Craigslist. Also swing by your local pick and pull junkyard and take a look around if they have any 940s. Thats where you're probably going to get the best price.
