The PCV breather will keep it from coming out although it shouldn’t move upward anyway.

You’ll definitely have to ditch that distributor, intake, and probably the oil filter relocation stuff...

That would be a neat project if it’s doable but stock to lightly-modified pushrod engines don’t really need oil coolers anyway.

Yeah I ran those as well and didn't have any issues. Sounds like you might have some weird replacement studs. H&R stuff is usually on point.

Grab the dual Ď67 manifold and a stock downpipe. Any exhaust from 2-2.5Ē will be fine. F heads are usually cheap and you can mill quite a bit off of them to get the compression up around 9.5-10:1.

I’ve never had any issues with my pushrod motors. It’s a pretty neat idea but I think it’s a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.

Aerostar vans had the 3.5” (I think) aluminum shafts. There’s a local place here that will make you whatever you want. They made mine for a t5 to 8.8 and Kyle just used one for a t5 to Dana rear end....
